YomaBarr This is one of those that sit in your wishlist forever looking at you wryly and saying: So, you can't decide if you like us or not but you're not able to get rid of us either?
Or, one of those when you can't decide if the thing is high art or total crap.

This is not crap.

Genre: Shylmagoghnarish. And occasional violin doesn't necessarily make stuff folk.

bcb723 The sole album from Gire, this is Hungarian folk death metal that strikes a chord with its strikingly unique melodies, harmonies and instrumentation. For me, the main draw to purchase was the impressive contribution of Tamás Kátai (from Thy Catafalque) adding his distinctive synths and programming to the overall sound making this a quirky, unique and strangely emotional listen. This one will surprise you. Favorite track: Hét madár.

Kyotofu Just a pure blast from start to finish. Gire is so straightforward, still, some moments are geniously smooth and creative transitions between tracks, like the end of "Zöld zivatar" or "Hét madár", building a calm and contemplative passage right before it launches you again into fucking space.
Instruments are surprising and emotionaly varied, with inspired layers of sounds, and it creates a wild and wacky personality that outright unleashes enormous waves of fun. This is a killer album. Buy it. Favorite track: Zöld zivatar.
